Network Detection and Response (NDR)
A CyberASM service offering
Overview
Our network detection and response (NDR) service monitors activity across on-premises and cloud networks to help identify suspicious behaviour. It gives security teams additional evidence for investigation and supports response in line with the agreed service scope.
Hyprfire's Firebug is a managed NDR option that uses passive network metadata to support threat hunting, prioritised alerts, and SIEM integrations. Fit depends on available telemetry and your operating requirements.
Network Detection and Response (NDR)
Overview
NDR tools analyse network activity to support threat hunting, alert triage, and integration with security operations.
Capabilities can include:
- Threat Hunting: Review network activity for indicators that may warrant investigation.
- Prioritised Alerts: Surface higher-priority events to support triage and response.
- Deployment: Depending on the environment, establish a network baseline without deep packet inspection.
- Alert Filtering: Active Noise Filtration (ANF) helps reduce lower-priority alerts so teams can focus on significant events.
- SIEM Integration: Send supported events to SIEM platforms used by your security team.
- Scalable Coverage: Adjust monitoring to suit the size and requirements of your environment.
Benefits
- Earlier Investigation: Network visibility and prioritised alerts help teams investigate suspicious activity.
- Improved Visibility: Give analysts a clearer view of devices and activity observed on the network.
- Less Alert Noise: ANF helps teams focus on higher-priority events.
- SIEM Integration: Send supported events to existing SIEM workflows.
- Flexible Coverage: Scope monitoring to the organisation's network and operational requirements.
